About us
Under new management
Located in Duhamel, in the heart of the Outaouais, Pourvoirie Légendes des Bois, formerly known as Pourvoirie Club des Douze, entered a new chapter in 2025. Over the years, this territory has been the setting for countless stories, and it is from this rich and authentic heritage that the name Légendes des Bois was born.
Our new management team shares a passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Since taking over, we have focused on improving the accommodations, infrastructure and overall guest experience while preserving the authentic character of the outfitter.
Our mission
At Pourvoirie Légendes des Bois, our mission is to offer authentic fishing, hunting and outdoor experiences while respecting the land and wildlife. We take a welcoming and sustainable approach to creating memorable stays where nature and tranquility come together.
We also aim to highlight the educational side of the outfitter, along with the local stories and legends that are part of its identity, giving our guests an immersive experience rooted in the region’s culture and heritage.
Our lakes
Pourvoirie Légendes des Bois offers several fishing experiences on different lakes throughout its territory.
Lake Galette, the main lake at the outfitter, borders all of our accommodations. It is stocked with brook trout and rainbow trout.
For guests staying 2 nights or more, it is also possible, by reservation, to discover Lake Ovila-Fortier, known for its deeper waters, Lake Scelier, available for an additional fee, as well as a lake on the territory dedicated to smallmouth bass fishing, with mandatory catch-and-release.
Each lake offers a different experience and gives guests another way to discover the outfitter’s territory.
